Shock Action back down in trip for G3 Falcon Stakes

G3 winner Shock Action returns to seven furlongs as he kicks off his three-year-old season in the G3 Falcon Stakes at Chukyo, Japan, on Saturday, 20 March.

The Ryuji Okubo-trained colt was third over the same distance on his debut at Hanshin last season before two impressive mile victories at Niigata, including when decisively beating Blue Symphony in the G3 Niigata Nisai Stakes at the end of August.

Shock Action (Keita Tosaki) went on to run in the G1 Asahi Hai Futurity over a mile at Hanshin in December, in which the son of Gleneagles faded to finish down the field.
