Godolphin supports Leopardstown Student Initiative

Leopardstown Racecourse today announced they are renewing their highly successful collaboration with Godolphin to attract a new generation of fans to horseracing, involving an initiative aimed at students.

The partnership offers students free entry to Leopardstown Racecourse for Killavullan Stakes Day on Sunday, 22 October, which features the Group 3 Killavullan Stakes and the Listed Trigo Stakes.

Godolphin's fan loyalty programme, Club Godolphin, will also invite 50 students to participate in a private tour of Kildangan Stud with a stallion parade, followed by a day at Leopardstown races.

There will also be a special prize open to all who participate in the tour, where two students will win an incredible trip to see behind the scenes and a private tour of Godolphin’s UK racing and breeding headquarters in Newmarket. The trip will include return flights to the UK, a tour of Dalham Hall Stud, where legendary Godolphin sire Dubawi stands, and tickets to the Newmarket 2000 Guineas Day.

Commenting on the importance of the partnership, Pat Keogh, Chief Executive, Leopardstown Racecourse, said: “The Club Godolphin Student Initiative introduced last year was a huge success and I welcome Club Godolphin’s continuation of this sponsorship.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for horseracing fans to have an exclusive tour of Kildangan Stud before enjoying a days’ racing. More importantly, with Club Godolphin’s support, this kind of initiative helps the growth and long-term future of our industry while helping to attract a new generation of fans to horseracing.”

To avail of this offer, students must register online at www.leopardstown.com before Friday, 13 October 2017.
